ABOUT MINI HYDRO

Small-scale hydro projects can make a big difference to communities in remote locations, and Malaysia has increasingly seen more RE investments in mini hydro projects.

In 2016, 10 mini hydro projects were approved for investment by MIDA, valued cumulatively at RM806.6 million.

MATTAN was comissioned to develop an installed capacity of 12MW mini hydro power plant in Aceh, Indonesia which will help bring a steady source of power to local communities in the area.
